Delta Dental of Oklahoma Foundation is a leading funder of dental related clinics and programs. This month's featured grantee organization is Dentists for the Disabled and Elderly in Need of Treatment, Inc. (D-DENT).
D-DENT helps improve the oral health of Oklahomans in need by providing free comprehensive dental care through a statewide network of volunteer dental professionals. Since 1986, D-DENT has connected thousands of patients to volunteer dentists and covered the hard costs with funding from many sources, including DDOK Foundation.
D-DENT has been named the 2019 recipient of the Dr. Rodney L. Huey Memorial Champion of Oklahoma Health, the highest honor of the Champions of Health awards. As the overall winner, D-DENT will receive a $15,000 grant, which will be presented at the 2019 Champions of Health Gala on Sept. 26 at the Cox Business Center in Tulsa. More about D-DENT>
